When I'm not drinking hot chocolate, I'm dreaming up new scenes to photograph. I fall asleep dreaming of new angles I want to try and wake up remembering a dream I had about photographing my favorite Disney character.
When I'm driving my kids to school, I can't stop scouting for unique photography niches. I have photographed children in every park in the city, neighborhood fountains, backwoods, parking lots, and in business parks. I see beauty and opportunity everywhere.
I am both a photographer and an engineer. The engineer in me cares deeply about getting the perfect camera settings, and the perfect lighting. My photographer side cares about how the image will make you feel. And of course, the mother in me wants the children to have fun during their session.

My children energize and exhaust me every single day. They also inspire me to be the best mom I can be. I love to see the world through their fresh, new, and excited eyes.

My background story
have three beautiful children. They have taught me to have an endless supply of patience.

Our final family member is our dog, Reggie. He's a rescue mutt and we love everything about him. He sleeps most of every day, but occasionally wakes up to bark at passers by.
When I am not chasing my children, engineering power plants or doing photography you’ll find me creating new couture gowns in my sewing room. If I can’t find a dress like the one I’m imagining in my head— I create it myself.
I am also a painter. I love to create with both a real and digital brush.
